As a nonprofit retirement community, our mission is our bottom line.
One of the core values of Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio (MHCO) is relationship through community. We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and celebrating our elders.
Our nonprofit status allows us to dedicate our human and financial resources to a different set of investors: our residents. That means our resources are always returned to our communities. Our bottom line isn’t a corporate bottom line. Our bottom line is about our people. This allows us to remain a pioneer in the care we provide seniors.
For nearly 70 years, we have been the senior housing and health care provider of choice in Bluffton and the surrounding areas. MHCO provides independent living, assisted living, long-term care, memory care and short term rehab at our three area campuses.
Word of mouth continues to be the primary way new residents come to one of our communities – Mennonite Memorial Home, Maple Crest, and Willow Ridge. As a senior care provider, we consider this the ultimate compliment.
Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio is an organization you can trust; your physical, emotional and spiritual care as well as with your personal information is safe with us. Our Story
Our story begins in 1955. Bluffton area Mennonite churches had a vision of serving God by providing comfortable housing and compassionate care for the elderly. The founders envisioned a Christian home where the elderly could live a joyous, rich and full life. This longstanding tradition is still faithfully followed today and is the foundation of Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio.
