Ana Oliveira is the 2022 winner of the Barbara Fleming Memorial Scholarship sponsored by Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio, (MHCO). Ana is attending Rhodes State College, pursuing a Licensed Practical Nurse degree. Ana has worked at Mennonite Memorial Home as a dietary aid and later nursing assistant for the past 7 years. MHCO has been thankful for her kindness, patience, strong faith and team work abilities.
This annual award of $500 provides scholarship support to an MHCO employee pursuing a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse, a Registered Nurse, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a Master’s of Science in Nursing. Barbara Fleming, in whose honor the scholarship is made possible, was a resident of Mennonite Memorial Home from 1997-2000, was trained as a nurse and throughout her life exhibited the caring nature that characterizes the profession of nursing. Please congratulate Ana as she pursues her calling to serve others through the honorable profession of nursing.
