Everyone has something to give and every act of generosity counts!
MHCO will join the GivingTuesday movement this year. Its goal is to reimagine a world built upon shared humanity and radical generosity. This generosity may be through one’s volunteer activity, support of people near or far, as well as charitable gifts to causes or organizations you care deeply about. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. It is an idea that MHCO can support and hope you will too.
With that in mind MHCO shares the following opportunities for you to consider with MHCO and the elders we serve:
- We are looking for volunteers to help at our campuses with a wide variety of opportunities. For more details see the link …. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITES fall/winter 2022.
- During the week of Nov. 28 – Dec. 4 we invite you to support MHCO’s mission. Specifically, our efforts to care for older adults who have outlived their resources. Gifts made during this week of $50 – $1,000 will be matched 1:1 by generous contributions of a few anonymous donors who have pooled together $20,000 for this effort.
