Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio is joining Mercy Health, SumiRiko and Superior Credit Union as the newest Corporate Partners of Bluffton University. This partnership allows MHCO to provide educational discounts to employees and their families, and to enhance local workforce and community needs.
According to Dr. Jane Wood, Bluffton University President, “These partnerships enhance the pipeline of talent in Northwest Ohio while providing new opportunities for working adults and their families who are established in the region, committed to advancing their careers, and dedicated to improving their communities.” Bluffton’s Corporate Partner and Education Partner programs provide benefit-eligible employees and their immediate families a 20 percent tuition discount on Bluffton University’s undergraduate, degree-completion and master’s degree programs. The discount is applied to both online and on-campus degree programs. The Church Partners program provides the same discounts to members of partner churches.
In response to this announcement, MHCO Director of Human Resources, Deb Lamb, said “MHCO is excited to be partnering with Bluffton University to offer our employees a 20% discount to further their education. Since our employees are our most important asset, we are always looking for ways to further support them. This partnership adds another great benefit to their benefit package, and allows them to further their education if they so desire.”
