Ohio Mask Mandate – What it means for MHCO

Today, Governor DeWine’s order requiring Ohioans to wear masks in public and in businesses goes into effect throughout Ohio.  This announcement also issues a travel advisory for those traveling to and from certain states.  The details of this order can be found in the press release published on the coronavirus.ohio.gov website.   Previously, masks were already required in Allen County due to the “Level 3/Red” designation.

The increase in community spread across Ohio puts MHCO staff and residents at increased risk of exposure to COVID-19. At this time anyone that is on MHCO property is required to wear a mask. This includes people dropping off deliveries, staff coming and going from buildings, and anyone else entering the property.

We are following Governor DeWine’s order and ask that our entire MHCO family do the same – by wearing masks in public places, continuing to use social distancing strategies to prevent exposure, and practicing frequent hand washing.

Working together we can do this!

Stay well and the Peace of God be with us All.
